Aura Seeker: Everything We Know About the Upcoming JP Set

What Is Aura Seeker?

Aura Seeker — known in Japan as Hadou Seeker — is an upcoming Japanese Pokémon TCG set currently on our radar. Before we go any further: this set is rumored, not confirmed. Nothing is official, and the set has not yet appeared on pokemon-card.com. Treat everything below accordingly.

The Release Date Situation

A date of November 27, 2026 is floating around, but it's disputed. This one is worth flagging hard — the date has been reported but is actively contested, and it has not been confirmed by The Pokémon Company. Don't pencil anything into your calendar just yet.

How Do We Even Know This Exists?

The strongest signal we have is a trademark. Hadou Seeker was trademarked in March 2026, which is typically one of the earliest concrete signs that a set is real and moving through the pipeline. Trademarks don't lie — somebody filed paperwork. The initial reporting comes from PokeBeach.

That said, a trademark is a starting gun, not a finish line. Sets get trademarked well before release details get locked in, which is exactly why the date remains murky.

The Chase Card Rumor

Here's what collectors are already buzzing about: the expected chase card for Aura Seeker is the Mega Lucario Z ex. That's the card people are going to be ripping packs for if this set lands the way the rumor suggests.

Lucario has always had a passionate fanbase, and a Mega Lucario Z ex treatment sounds like exactly the kind of big, splashy pull that drives box prices up before a set even releases. Again — this is rumored. But it's the detail that has collectors paying attention.

What We Don't Know

A lot, honestly. Because the set hasn't been officially announced, we're missing:

• A confirmed card list
• A confirmed set size
• Any pricing data
• Any confirmed artwork details
• An English localization announcement

We're working from a trademark and secondhand reporting. That's it.

The Bottom Line

Aura Seeker is one to watch, not one to bet on yet. The Mega Lucario Z ex rumor alone is enough to keep it on your radar — but until pokemon-card.com puts something official up, everything here is subject to change. We'll update this page the moment the status shifts.
